What is the PiXL History App?
A resource that puts the power of PiXL in the hands of the people who can make a difference.
Whether you are a member of staff or a student, the app helps identify strengths and areas to develop across the History curriculum.
Its built-in question bank assesses ten topic areas through seven engaging activities:

How to Get Started
Getting your school set up takes just minutes. Follow these simple steps to start using the PiXL History App.
1. Add Your Students
All pupils must first be added to the central PiXL database at appusers.pixl.org.uk.
There are two ways of setting up your student accounts: Excel upload or Wonde (acts as a secure bridge between your MIS and the PiXL History App, eliminating manual data entry).

2. Distribute Logins & Launch
Once students are assigned to a History class and login details have been shared, everyone can log in immediately.
Teachers can then start setting tasks from the topic and activity library, and students can begin diagnosing their own strengths and weaknesses straight away.
3. Engage Students with the App
Provide opportunities for students to engage with the app regularly. Consider setting homework, using it in interventions, or monitoring progress through the staff analysis tools.
